Nearby are lovely riverside walks and many of the Fylde's picturesque villages, as well as the coastal resorts of Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Blackpool, St. Annes and Lytham.

Within walking distance is Great Eccleston with its restaurant, cafe, shops and weekly open-air market. A short drive takes you to the nearby old market town of Poulton-le-Fylde with its wide range of traditional shops and sophisticated boutiques.

The lane at the front of Barn Owl Cottage meanders down to the River Wyre, old toll bridge, and the 17th century Cartford Country Inn which offers fine far and real ale brewed on the premises. From there are well defined riverside walks with glorious views of the surrounding open countryside.

The accommodation comprises of one double bedroom and two single bedrooms, four piece bathroom with hand shower and tiled floor, comfortable lounge, fully fitted and well equipped kitchen off which is a pine furnished dining room, small downstairs toilet.

All liner and towels provided, heating and electricity included, high chair and cot on request, TV, vide, CD player, games, hairdryer, garden furniture, nearby shops, pubs and restaurant, fishing, welcome pack, sorry no pets and non-smokers only.

From the sunny entrance hall, a few steps down lead into the tastefully furnished lounge, perfect for relaxation after an enjoyable day out.







The pleasant kitchen is well equipped with a double oven, halogen hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, deep fryer and washing machine. An open archway leads through to the country style, pine furnished area.


The pretty bathroom is fitted with an elegant four piece suite in ivory with hand shower and electric towel rail.



A spindle staircase climbs up to the landing, off which is the main bedroom, attractively furnished with a double bed and spacious fitted wardrobe.Two further bedrooms are furnished with single beds to a similar high standard.






Outside, the planted area leads to an enclosed garden with lawn and there is a useful bike store, garden furniture, and ample parking for one car.






There is gas central heating throughout.

Bed linen, towels and a small welcome pack are provided.
